Job Description
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the individual will be responsible for leading all aspects of the sales process for their specified accounts and new account inquiries. Responsible for promoting Company products as a sales representative to all assigned existing and prospective accounts. The individual will develop and maintain productive working relationships with customers to achieve sales goals. This position also supports our external Commercial team by assisting with internal requests and follow-ups.
Main Responsibilities
- Respond to customer needs for samples, technical information, and pricing. Assume responsibility for the effective performance of Sales and Marketing functions.
- Prospect (cold call) for new accounts and seek opportunities to increase existing business. Attend agency training when required and available. Meet established quotas and sales goals. Ensure that sales accounts are serviced according to Company standards and policies. Forecast long-range account sales (sales, volume, margin) and product needs, and communicate this information regularly to management. Provide technical support to customers using the provided tools and resources.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with Company products and services. Obtain customer feedback and continually work to improve products and services. Complete and resolve customer requests, complaints, and inquiries. Promote products and services at trade shows and organize display materials. Establish and maintain good business relations with customers and external trade contacts.
- Set sales goals aligned with Company objectives. Track progress towards these goals. Assist support personnel as needed. Keep management informed of area activities, changes in competitive conditions, and significant issues. Complete required reports and records accurately and promptly. Attend meetings as required. Maintain effective communication and coordination with Company personnel and management.
Requirements and Skills
- Complete graduation
- Fluent in English
- Experience within the Food Industry, focusing on Sweets, Beverages, and Dairy categories
- Sales proficiency
- Understanding of Caldic’s product positioning and competitive conditions is a plus
