SALES ASSOCIATE
PART TIME
The Sales Associate is responsible for achieving store sales goals while providing an exceptional level of customer service and hospitality, ensuring that each guest has a positive and memorable experience. The Sales Associate will deliver an elevated, personalized experience while being perceptive to each customer’s specific needs. This individual is dependable, friendly, articulate, well presented, and professional with a warm personality.

- Must be located in NYC
- Must be available weekends
- Must have a minimum of 2 years prior experience in a fashion retail store with clientele oriented sales. Applications without this qualification will not be considered.
- Warm, welcoming, friendly and eloquent
- Prefers minimizing digital distractions and social media usage to maintain a healthy real-life balance
- Quick learner with excellent capacity to retain new knowledge and stay focused
- Proven sales performance with ability to initiate conversations with customers

- Broad knowledge of fashion retail industry with related business acumen

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional, personalized client experiences with the highest standard of hospitality
- Drive sales through styling, suggestive selling, add-ons, and product knowledge
- Consistently build and develop personal relationships to grow clientele list
- Achieve and exceed sales goals and store KPIs
- Warmly greet all customers with a sincere welcome
- Initiate conversations with customers to show hospitality and identify needs
- Ensure customers are number one store priority
- Consistently elevate the level of customer service inside the store to set Aquelarre Shop brand apart
Operational Responsibilities
- Complete daily shift reports and communicate to management
- Open and close the store and thoroughly perform all opening and closing procedures
- Maintain store standards for cleanliness, visual merchandising, organization etc.
- Receive inventory shipments
- Process clothing meticulously with high attention to detail before it goes on sales floor (steaming, lint rolling, etc.)
- Replenish product and supplies on the sales floor
- Maintain back stock organization
Pay
- Pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, and core competencies. We will meet minimum wage requirements based on city, county and state requirements.
