Jobtailor in São Paulo seeks an entry-level retail associate to assist customers and manage stock in-store. You will ensure courteous service, check product quality, and help with replenishment and price verification to maintain organized displays.

Responsibilities include inventory counts, FIFO rotation, and collaboration with team members to set up promotions and keep shelves clean and accessible. Prior experience is not required; attention to detail and reliability are valued.

Responsabilidades

Treat customers courteously and politely
Show empathy for the customer
Give full attention to the customer when requested
Act ethically and professionally, avoiding disrespect toward customers
Note product shortages and suggestions when requested
Check counters and displays within your area of responsibility
Replenish products that are missing
Check daily with the stockroom for incoming products to be shelved
Report product shortages to the team leader or sector supervisor
Remove products unfit for sale or unsafe for consumption
Check product expiration dates before stocking
Verify prices and arrange price updates when necessary
Prepare the goods cart for stocking
Position products so they do not block customer access
Clean display bins before beginning replenishment
Verify price tags against products
Replenish display bins ensuring product quality and presentation
Perform proper product rotation (FIFO)
Keep the department clean and organized
Assist other departments when necessary
Set up promotional or extra displays when requested
Store products in refrigerated chambers
Replenish packaging supplies for customers
Investigate losses of products unfit for consumption
Monitor the quality of leafy produce
Perform inventory counts regularly as directed by your supervisor
Comply with basic standards of conduct, ethics, and use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
