About the Role

Reporting to the Global Regulatory Lead, the Regulatory Lead will lead and execute regulatory strategies that support the approval and commercialization of biotech traits and seed technologies across Brazil and the broader South American region.

You’ll play a critical role in

• Leading regional regulatory strategies for new biotech traits and seeds
• Managing regulatory dossiers, submissions and agency interactions end-to-end
• Ensuring GM/GE permitting, biosafety and regulatory compliance
• Guiding regulatory studies, data analysis and scientific reporting
• Acting as a key liaison with Brazilian regulatory authorities
• Supporting products involving novel oil compositions and food/feed safety considerations
• Collaborating with global cross-functional teams and external research partners

What You’ll Bring

• 10+ years of experience in ag-biotech regulatory affairs
• Proven success securing regulatory approvals across Brazil and South America
• Deep scientific and regulatory expertise in seeds, traits, biosafety and food/feed safety
• Experience supporting oil-related regulatory submissions highly regarded
• PhD in plant biotechnology, oil chemistry, food/feed safety or a related scientific discipline
• Excellent communication, writing and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, collaborative and results-driven mindset
• Multilingual communication skills, including English, Portuguese and Spanish, highly regarded
