Responsabilidades

• Coordinate response to audit findings and customer quality questionnaires.

Reporting to Regional Quality Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams, including laboratory technicians.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality policies, procedures, and systems in accordance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with Brazilian and international regulatory requirements applicable to food color manufacturing.
• Oversee testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Review and approve product specifications, raw material specifications, packaging specifications, Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and finished product releases.
• Develop, review, and maintain laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and testing methodologies.
• Monitor laboratory and production compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Manage preventive maintenance and calibration programs for laboratory equipment.
• Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Partner with Production to troubleshoot process and quality-related issues.
• Lead internal, customer, certification, and third-party audits, ensuring timely responses to audit findings.
• Manage customer quality questionnaires and provide technical support and product application guidance.
• Support new product development and identify opportunities for R&D projects.
• Coordinate product recall activities when required.
• Ensure all QA/QC documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant.
• Develop, mentor, and train quality personnel while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Prepare quality metrics and reports for executive leadership.
