KIHM Metal Technologies in Indiana is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our aerospace QMS and ensure compliance with NADCAP and AS9100 requirements.

The role oversees incoming, in-process, and final inspections, drives root-cause analysis and corrective actions, and leads FMEA on new programs while collaborating with Engineering and Operations to meet company goals. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years experience in Aerospace manufacturing or related field
• NADCAP and AS9100 experience required
• Working knowledge of GD&T, blueprints, modeling and machining tolerances
• Knowledge of 5S/Lean principles
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with spreadsheets, email, PowerPoint, and web-based applications

Responsabilidades

• Ensure QMS conforms to Customer, AS9100, NADCAP and regulatory requirements
• Oversee inspection of incoming materials, in-process, and final product
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Analyze failure, corrective, and preventive actions for customer complaints
• Evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and test/analytical gear
• Perform FMEA on new programs to minimize risk and drive improvement
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to meet company goals
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
• Train employees on Quality procedures
• Support other duties as needed

We are currently seeking a Quality Manager at our Brazil, Indiana location. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality and compliance related to the aerospace industry and its related certifications and requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that company QMS conforms to Customer, AS9100, NADCAP, and regulatory/legal requirements
• Oversees inspection of incoming materials, in-process, and final product ensuring they meet requirements
• Performs root cause analysis of discrepancies and implement correct actions
• Analyze failure, corrective, and preventative action to respond to customer complaints
• Evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and test, measurement, and analytical equipment
• Perform Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) on new programs to minimize or eliminate risk by focusing on prevention and continuous improvement
• Collaborates with Engineering, Operations, and other internal departments to ensure Company goals are met
• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
• Trains employees on Quality procedures
• Other various duties as needed or as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in Aerospace manufacturing, or combination of related experience and/or training, and education
• NADCAP and AS9100 experience required
• Working knowledge of Shop Mathematics, Blueprints, GD&T, Models, machining qualities of materials
• Knowledge in 5S/Lean principles
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills necessary to learn/operate spreadsheets, email, PowerPoint, and web-based applications

• Stand for long periods of time (8+ hours)
• Sit, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
