About the Role

The Manager BT Quality Assurance Manager demonstrates a high level of professionalism, prioritizing the implementation and continuous improvement of software quality assurance and quality engineering practices within the Quality Assurance Center of Excellence (CoE). This role is responsible for establishing and scaling software QA processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and organizational guidelines, and driving the adoption of modern software quality methodologies across teams. The BT QA Manager oversees and develops manual and automation specialists & test coordinator QA resources, leads software quality reviews and audits, fosters a culture of quality and engineering excellence, and drives process optimization through automation and data‑driven insights. The role collaborates closely with cross‑functional technology and product teams to ensure that software products meet or exceed customer expectations, functional requirements, and engineering quality standards.

Main Accountabilities

• Hire, onboard, train, and manage the QA team, including full‑time staff and contractors, conducting performance reviews, overseeing their development and optimal resource allocation for projects.
• Oversee the execution of all testing activities (manual / automation / performance) across the software development lifecycle, managing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance and test management systems, QA processes & policies and automation best practices ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.
• Establish and maintain robust reporting and governance frameworks, utilizing tools like QTest, ADO, and customized Power BI apps to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for testing teams and automation testing cycles.
• Collaborate with SAP functional, release management and business teams, analyze testing data comprehensively, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement and maturation of test automation frameworks.
• Manage the selection, integration, and utilization of testing tools, technologies (including AI), and ensure proper environment access for the QA team.
• Collaborate and manage communications with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to address quality concerns and align on project goals.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs), using data to inform decisions and track quality trends.
• Support SDLC and quality audit requests, inspections, and process reviews, ensuring identified corrective actions are implemented effectively.
• Prepare and present comprehensive QA reports and metrics to senior management, providing necessary support and recommendations.
• Develop and deliver training programs on software QA principles and processes to enhance organizational quality awareness and capabilities.
• Stay up‑to‑date on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging quality assurance methodologies, incorporating them into the CoE's strategies and procedures.

• Expertise in latest industry standard testing tools (Essential Tosca expertise is required for this role; QTest & Neo Load), particularly for SAP based testing with multiple integrations, technologies and techniques along with experience in supporting audits and inspections. Some experience with other automation tools like Playwright, GitHub, Selenium etc would also be preferred.
• Candidates must possess a comprehensive grasp of Tosca modules and functionality.
• Proficient in using quality management software and tools, with an aptitude for AI‑driven QA technologies.
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards pertaining to software quality.

Education & Experience

Typically, a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.

A Master's degree is a plus.

Relevant quality assurance certifications such as ISTQB (e.g., CTFL, Advanced Level – Test Manager, Agile Tester, AI Testing), ASQ CSQE, CSQA, PMP, TOSCA certifications are highly preferred.

Fluent English. Fluency in Portuguese is required for managing the Brazil-based team.
