Johnson Electric Automotivo Brasil Ltda. in Arujá, SP is seeking a Quality Analyst to drive quality excellence from customer support to supplier development. You will monitor the QMS, lead corrective actions, and steer continuous improvement initiatives across the product lifecycle.

The role emphasizes APQP/PPAP, problem-solving methods, audits, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve yield and compliance with IATF 16949 and customer requirements.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • Experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering environments.
  • Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and AIAG Core Tools.

Responsabilidades

  • Monitor the Quality Management System to ensure compliance across the product life cycle.
  • Coordinate customer technical assistance activities, including visits and containment actions.
  • Lead corrective actions and 8D-style investigations with cross-functional teams.
  • Use problem-solving tools to drive sustainable corrective actions and reduce defects.
  • Track field performance, warranty data, and customer complaints for continuous improvement.
  • Lead Kaizen, MSA, SPC activities to improve process capability and waste reduction.
  • Participate in customer audits and present action plans and reports.
  • Conduct teardown analyses and investigations related to customer claims and warranty returns.
  • Develop supplier APQP/PPAP activities and monitor supplier performance.
  • Support supplier development, audits, and corrective actions; manage PPAP submissions.

Your expertise in quality systems, problem solving, supplier quality, and customer satisfaction will be critical in improving plant quality performance, reducing defects and waste, and ensuring compliance with customer and industry requirements.Why You’ll Love Working Here:Sustainability Commitment: Work for a company committed to sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment.Inclusive Workplace: An inclusive and diverse workplace where all employees are valued and respected.Technological Leadership: Be part of a company that is a leader in its field, driving technological advancements.Work-Life Balance: Flexible working hours and policies that support a healthy work-life balance.What You’ll Be Doing:Customer Quality & Technical Support• Monitor the Quality Management System to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle, from development through serial production• Coordinate customer technical assistance activities, including customer visits and containment actions when required• Lead corrective action activities and Quality Alert processes using cross-functional teams• Ensure the effective use of problem-solving methodologies and quality tools to achieve sustainable corrective actions• Monitor field performance, warranty data, customer complaints, and TPPA results to drive continuous improvement• Lead Kaizen initiatives focused on quality improvement, waste reduction, and defect prevention• Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities to improve process capability• Participate in customer audits and demonstrate compliance with quality standards and customer requirements• Present Action Plans and 8D reports to customers and stakeholders• Perform teardown analysis and technical investigations related to customer claims and warranty returnsSupplier Quality Management• Develop and monitor APQP and PPAP activities for suppliers• Perform supplier qualification, validation, and process audits• Manage supplier quality performance using established metrics and scorecards• Implement supplier development and recovery programs for underperforming suppliers• Review and approve supplier PPAP submissions• Coordinate incoming inspection activities and supplier corrective actions• Monitor engineering changes and supplier readiness activities• Conduct supplier visits to verify corrective actions and process improvements• Support Supplier Day activities and supplier performance reviewsContinuous Improvement & Quality Systems• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve PPM performance, and strengthen process capability• Lead root cause analysis activities using structured problem-solving methodologies• Monitor and maintain quality performance indicators• Support the implementation of quality improvement projects and Lean initiatives• Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements, IATF 16949, and internal quality standardsWhat We’re Looking For:• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field• Experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, or related environments• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and AIAG Core Tools• Experience with customer and supplier quality management processes• Knowledge of automotive quality systems and IATF 16949 requirements• Ability to perform audits, investigations, and corrective action management• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities• Excellent communication and presentation skills• Fluent English proficiency preferredBonus Points If You Have:• Experience with Failure Analysis methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, DOE, Six Sigma)• Experience in Kaizen and Continuous Improvement programs• Knowledge of GD&T and technical drawing interpretation• Experience with Poka-Yoke and Lean Manufacturing concepts• Automotive industry experience• Experience as an internal, supplier, or customer auditor• Knowledge of CQI standards and customer-specific requirementsKey Competencies:• Customer focus• Leadership and influence• Communication and negotiation• Critical thinking and problem solving• Planning and organization• Teamwork and collaboration• Results orientation• Creativity and innovation• Risk assessment and decision making• Continuous improvement mindsetHow to Apply:Apply online at www.johnsonelectric.com — We can’t wait to meet you!What We Offer:Johnson Electric offers talented people like you the opportunity to grow professionally and personally, surrounded by some of the most dedicated, innovative, and entrepreneurial colleagues you will find anywhere.
