We are seeking a professional to work with beneficiaries and their families, encouraging understanding of human behavior and assisting in achieving quality of life through managing emotional, physical, and spiritual pain.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Monitor beneficiaries via telehealth within the Mental Health line of PGC;
- Conduct home visits for alignment and mediation of existing issues in care;
- Promote interpersonal relationships among beneficiaries, families, providers, and partners during home care;
- Provide ongoing education to professionals involved in care, training them on behavior and specific management techniques;
- Support and contribute to interdisciplinary case discussions, analyzing data and interpreting conflicts to develop personalized intervention plans;
- Address beneficiaries' and families' needs and expectations, especially in cases of physical or emotional deterioration;
- Offer emotional support to beneficiaries and family members throughout all stages of palliative care, including end-of-life, terminal phase, active dying process, and mourning.
Requirements and Qualifications
Mandatory
- Complete higher education in Psychology;
- Active registration with CRP;
- Class B driver's license;
- Availability to travel within the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre;
- Experience in patient care involving Palliative Care and Mental Health;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Desirable
- Post-graduation in progress in Systemic Therapy and/or Mental Health;
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records;
- Experience with telemonitoring and/or home visits.
