The Vistex Project Manager will lead large project initiatives or manage multiple engagements for a single Vistex customer. The primary responsibility of this role is to build client relationships and successfully deliver the assigned projects. The Vistex Project Manager will provide thought leadership across all technical and business process aspects for the engagements they manage.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple clients/projects at any given time.
- Assist in pre-sales activities and expanding Vistex consulting services.
- Assist with scoping and estimating project work.
- Identify and close new service opportunities for your assigned clients.
- Identify appropriate consulting skills required for the projects.
- Onsite Lead for implementation project(s).
- Manage the SOW/Contract requirements and related change requests (CR).
- Adhere to all documented PMO process and procedures (DM Manual and related documentation).
- Define deliverables, templates and standards for the project.
- Develop and manage detailed integrated project plan including project milestones and deliverables.
- Identify, track, and report project performance metrics to the client.
- Manage project issues/risks, scope, budgets and client expectations.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for project related issues.
- Establish "trusted advisor" relationships with key client and implementation partner stakeholders.
- Monitor budget to actual project expenditures, headcount and deliverable completion.
- Manage and maintain project financials (resources, schedule and budget).
- Develop in-depth knowledge of project implementation methodologies and best practices.
- Mentor junior project managers and delivery managers as needed.

Education
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or a related field.

5-10 years:
- Experience leading and managing projects
- SAP Project Lifecycle Management – Proficiency in managing end-to-end SAP implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and support projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and global standards.
- Independent thinking with keen problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multiple work plans.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn new software quickly.
- SAP Modules Knowledge – Solid understanding of key SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, Vistex) to facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration and issue resolution.
- SAP Activate and ASAP Methodologies – Hands-on experience applying structured methodologies to manage phases such as Explore, Realize, and Deploy, while ensuring agile delivery and documentation.
- Ability to control scope creep and manage CRs efficiently.
- Expertise in leading integration testing (SIT/UAT), defining cutover strategies, and managing production readiness and Go-Live execution.
- Strong skills in status reporting, RAID logs management, and steering committee presentations using MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and project dashboards.
