Job summary

ZF LIFETEC in Brazil is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead medium-complexity manufacturing projects. You will guide the project team, manage scope, schedule and budget, and coordinate across Sales, Engineering, Materials, and Manufacturing.

The role requires strong PM knowledge, cross-functional leadership, and excellent communication. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus, and prior experience in industrial settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is considered a plus.
• Proven experience managing projects in a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or related environment.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at different organizational levels.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in customer and supplier interactions, including technical discussions and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team to support successful execution of projects and organizational objectives.
• Manage medium-complexity projects, applying advanced project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to achieve predefined goals while optimizing resources and project performance.
• Lead the technical oversight of all project phases, including Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Control, and Project Closure.
• Monitor and manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, human resources, communications, and risks; identify deviations and implement corrective actions to minimize issues.
• Act as the primary liaison with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Materials, Manufacturing Processes, and other departments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives delivering cost reductions and operational efficiencies for the organization and its customers.
• Conduct technical visits with customers and suppliers to identify process improvement opportunities and resolve issues that may impact customer satisfaction.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, promoting alignment and successful project delivery.
