The opportunity: The project manager has formal accountability for the project's success. A Technical Lead is a delegate of the project manager with operational responsibility for conducting project activities toward successful project delivery. The Security Lead has the delegated power to undertake decisions related to project activities, organization and execution.
Support the Project Manager in project planning, execution, monitoring, and project delivery activities. Coordinate project team onboarding, define project requirements, and ensure effective communication among stakeholders. Maintain regular communication with clients and provide project status updates, risks, and issues to the Project Manager. Lead key project milestones, including Kickoff Meetings, FAT, SAT, installation, testing, and commissioning activities. Prepare, maintain, approve, and deliver project documentation, including as-built records, handover documentation, and lessons learned. Ensure project execution complies with organizational processes, quality standards, and the Code of Conduct. Mentor Technical Leads, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to the development of organizational best practices. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Proven experience providing technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams in complex engineering projects. Experience in the implementation of substation control systems. Background in project planning, schedule management, and cost control. Experience with SCADA systems, preferably including EMS (Energy Management Systems) and ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management Systems). Advanced proficiency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Hybrid work model, with 2 days per week based in the office.
