ECARX is seeking a senior program manager to act as the main liaison between external customers and internal teams. You will plan and deliver complex automotive programs focused on intelligent cockpit systems such as infotainment and connectivity.
You will own standalone workstreams while coordinating with software, hardware, and suppliers across regions. Ideal candidates have 5-6 years in the automotive sector, experience in program management across software and hardware, and PMP certification
1.Serve as the primary liaison between external customer stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams. Understand customer requirements (OEMs) deeply to ensure solutions are aligned and issues are escalated/resolved promptly.
2. Plan and deliver complex automotive programs, particularly in the area of intelligent cockpit systems (e.g., infotainment, connectivity, user interfaces).
3. Own standalone project workstreams while coordinating seamlessly within the broader organization.
4. Navigate the challenges of large-scale, cross-border projects involving multiple functional groups (software, hardware, and external suppliers).
5. Define tactical approaches to maintain deliverables and timelines, motivating global teams to meet or exceed objectives. Establish and track key metrics to measure program success, reporting progress to senior leadership and customers.
6. Foster collaboration across engineering, product development, and cross-functional teams. Identify and manage risks in complex automotive development cycles, from supplier and OEM constraints to internal resource challenges.
7. Develop and implement effective mitigation strategies, keeping all stakeholders informed. Other Senior Stakeholder & Executive Interface and Pre-Sales Support.
1. 5-6 years of automotive industry experience, preferably in IVI (infotainment) or ADAS systems.
2. 5-6 years of program management experience, covering software, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
3. PMP certification is highly preferred.
4. Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
5. Strong familiarity with automotive standards (IATF 16949, ASPICE). Knowledge of Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS) is an advantage.
6. Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.A proactive mindset that thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
7. Willingness to collaborate across multiple regions (China, Europe) and travel occasionally if needed.
