Volvo do Brasil is seeking a skilled accounting professional to join the Accounting & Regulatory Reporting team in Curitiba. You will support the Group’s financial services entities with robust controls, regulatory compliance, and high-quality reporting.

The role focuses on ECL modeling under IFRS 9, BACEN disclosures, and ongoing regulatory alignment. The ideal candidate has experience in financial institutions, strong closing knowledge, and advanced English.

Qualificações

• Experience with IFRS 9/Regulatory reporting
• CRC registration with Brazilian Accounting Council (CRC) is required
• Strong knowledge of balance sheets, financial statements and monthly closing
• Proactive, analytical problem-solver with attention to detail
• Advanced English proficiency

Responsabilidades

• Perform calculations, controls, and accounting related to IFRS 9 and ECL modeling
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports and disclosures for BACEN
• Monitor updates to IASB and Central Bank standards and ensure compliant implementation
• Develop, review, and maintain accounting policies and internal controls
• Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements
• Support audits, SOX controls, and regulatory inspections
• Identify opportunities to improve controls and regulatory reporting

What You Will Do

At Volvo Financial Services, you will be part of the Accounting & Regulatory Reporting team, supporting the Group’s financial services companies and contributing to a robust control environment, regulatory compliance, and high-quality financial reporting. Key responsibilities include:

• Perform calculations, controls, and accounting activities related to Resolution CMN 4.966 (IFRS 9), with a focus on Expected Credit Loss (ECL) modeling, monitoring, and accounting records.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports and disclosures required by the Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN).
• Monitor and assess changes in accounting and regulatory standards issued by the IASB and the Central Bank, ensuring timely implementation compliance.
• Develop, review, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal guidelines in accordance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
• Participate in the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
• Support internal and external audits, SOX compliance activities, internal controls assessments, and regulatory inspections.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize controls, processes, and regulatory reporting activities.

• Solid experience in financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of balance sheets, financial statements and monthly closing.
• Experience in regulatory reports.
• Analytical, proactive, and problem-solving profile.
• Advanced English.
• Active CRC (Brazilian Accounting Council registration) required.
