Capgemini is seeking a proactive and skilled Production Support Analyst to join our team supporting one of the top 10 U.S. insurance carriers. Our Client is one of the United States' largest insurers, providing a wide range of insurance and financial services products with gross written premium well over US$25 Billion (P&C). They proudly serve more than 10 million U.S. households with more than 19 million individual policies across all 50 states through the efforts of over 48,000 exclusive and independent agents and nearly 18,500 employees. Finally, our Client is part of one the largest Insurance Groups in the world.

Location: Brazil (Remote/Hybrid). Preferred: Availability to work PST.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provides expertise in the design and functionality of business applications.
  • Understands customers’ business processes and products and how best they can be supported by the application systems.
  • Reviews and validates the detailed technical design for business applications provided by the supplier to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Performs quality review checks on project deliverables.
  • Performs impact analysis of application changes across various components, holding an end-to-end view of the system.
  • Estimates Rough Order of Magnitude for the level of effort/cost of new application functionality
  • Specifies / recommends integration and parallel testing criteria
  • Supports the implementation activities, troubleshooting system environmental issues, as required.
  • Acts as liaison between Business and IT, as assigned Supports users in building Business Case, including cost / benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and development of a high-level plan.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in application development / testing or business / system analysis role or 2 years as an Application SME Level I / Application Operations (production support).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience.
  • High intermediate / Advanced English skills.
