Cadence Design Systems Inc. is looking for a motivated Product Validation Engineer II: Quality Assurance to work with us in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Cadence has been nominated as a Great Place to Work globally and in Brazil, and is also a Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For.

Job Description:

1. Improve processes and test methodologies.

2. Define test strategies and test plans.

3. Create new test cases (manual and automated) to verify/validate enhancements and fixes.

4. Analysis of functional and non-functional requirements.

5. Perform regression tests and analyze their results.

6. Identifies and documents defects.

Requirements:

1. Complete Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related areas.

2. Experience with software testing including automation testing.

3. Knowledge of programming language/scripts.

4. Experience with agile methodologies.

5. Passionate about software quality.

6. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

7. The candidate must be a team player and have a continuous improvement mindset.

8. Good verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have:

1. Knowledge or experience in Python.

2. Knowledge of performance and API tests.

3. Knowledge with Unix/Linux environment.

4. Experience in EDA industry/tools.
