Responsibilities:

1. Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) or Statistics.
2. Years of Experience - 3+ for Senior, 5+ for Staff, 8+ for Senior Staff.
3. Strong expertise in Deep Learning, Machine Learning and Generative AI (including Language, Vision, Audio and Multi-modal models).
4. Experience in developing models and algorithms using Deep Learning frameworks like PyTorch & TensorFlow, compute and memory optimizations using Deep Speed, PyTorch DDP architectures for both training and inferencing Large Language Models.
5. Experience in deploying deep learning models on multiple GPUs.
6. Exposure to one or more of the following domains - Optimization, Stochastic Processes, Estimation theory.
7. Strong programming skills in one or more of the following languages - Python, Go.
8. Experience in building applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
9. Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform and its services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
10. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required Qualifications:

1. Masters Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) or Statistics.
2. Deep expertise and experience in training/fine-tuning large language models on large GPU clusters.
3. Experience in parallel programming including data, model and tensor parallelisms with PyTorch and TensorFlow.
4. Deep experience in building and scaling machine learning / deep learning or GenAI applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
5. Experience using frameworks like Text Generation Inference, vLLM, Llama_CPP for model inference.
6. Experience in training and/or finetuning models in a multi-node, multi-accelerator cluster.
7. Experience in monitoring, managing and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters.
8. Working experience with Relational and Graph Databases.
9. Strong working experience with at least two cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
10. Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Orchestration Frameworks & MLOps.
11. Deep expertise and experience in one or more of the following areas like finance, healthcare, engineering.
12. Ability to transform business needs to technical requirements, define tasks, metrics and milestones.
13. Ability to communicate technological challenges and achievements to various stakeholders.
