Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a Senior Technical Service Specialist to lead technical support strategy for the poultry segment. You will become the trusted technical advisor to customers and internal teams, shaping our portfolio positioning and guiding commercial plans.

You will oversee experiments, field trials, and data-driven reports, collaborating with sales, marketing, and R&D to deliver high-impact solutions and identify opportunities by region and key accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Agronomy, or related fields.
• Master’s degree in a related field; PhD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional technical initiatives and contribute to strategic decisions for customers, products, and market.
• Serve as the primary technical reference for customers and internal teams on nutrition, gut health, production systems, enzymes, and products.
• Build relationships with customers and key decision-makers to support account planning and commercial strategies.
• Develop and implement technical action plans with Sales and Marketing aligned to business plans.
• Plan and conduct experiments, field trials, and evaluations with methodological rigor.
• Translate technical knowledge into actionable insights and high-impact reports for growth.
• Identify opportunities and threats; support pipeline development in Salesforce.
• Collaborate across units to address challenges, support product development, and drive innovation.
• Train and coach team members, sharing knowledge and mentoring.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Service Specialist to lead the strategy and execution of technical support for the poultry segment, generating knowledge, developing high-impact technical solutions, and providing guidance to Sales and Marketing teams. The role will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, strengthening the positioning of the Novonesis portfolio and brand, while also contributing to the identification of business opportunities, innovation, and product development.

The Role and Your Impact

• Lead complex, cross-functional technical initiatives, taking ownership of results and contributing to strategic decisions related to customers, products, and the market.
• Act as the primary technical reference for customers and internal teams on nutrition, gut health, production systems, enzymes, microorganisms, products, applications, and competitors within the poultry segment.
• Build strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers, supporting account planning and the implementation of Novonesis’ commercial strategies.
• Develop and implement technical action plans together with Sales and Marketing, prioritizing technical support activities in alignment with the business plan and customer needs.
• Plan, conduct, and follow up on experiments, field trials, and technical evaluations, ensuring methodological rigor and generating relevant results for customers and the business.
• Translate technical knowledge and market analysis into actionable insights, recommendations, high-impact reports, and solutions that support business growth.
• Identify commercial opportunities and threats, support pipeline development in Salesforce, and contribute to new opportunities by region or key account.
• Collaborate with Applied Research, Business Units, Quality, Sales, and Marketing to address technical challenges, manage customer complaints, support product development, and identify innovation opportunities.
• Train and coach technical and commercial team members by sharing knowledge, facilitating technical discussions, and acting as a mentor and subject‑matter expert for less experienced professionals.
• Develop new approaches, tools, and frameworks to address recurring or complex technical challenges, promoting consistency and quality in deliverables.

What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Agronomy, or related fields.
• Master’s degree in a related field. PhD is considered a plus.
• Advanced or fluent English. Spanish is considered a plus.
• Solid experience in the poultry production chain, with knowledge of nutrition, animal health, and gut health.
• Experience in project development and management, conducting experiments, strategic planning, and solving technical field challenges.
• Knowledge of feed formulation software is considered a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
