Novonesis is seeking a Senior Technical Service Specialist to lead strategy and execution of technical support for the poultry segment, acting as a trusted advisor to customers and internal teams on nutrition, gut health, production systems, and product applications.

The role requires formal veterinary/animal science training with advanced English and extensive experience in poultry, experiments, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Marketing.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Agronomy, or related field.
• Master’s degree; PhD is a plus.
• Advanced or fluent English; Spanish is a plus.
• Solid experience in the poultry production chain, with knowledge of nutrition, animal health, and gut health.
• Experience in project development and management, conducting experiments, strategic planning, and solving technical field challenges.

The role will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, strengthening the positioning of the Novonesis portfolio and brand, while also contributing to the identification of business opportunities, innovation, and product development.The Role and Your ImpactLead complex, cross-functional technical initiatives, taking ownership of results and contributing to strategic decisions related to customers, products, and the market.Act as the primary technical reference for customers and internal teams on nutrition, gut health, production systems, enzymes, microorganisms, products, applications, and competitors within the poultry segment.Build strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers, supporting account planning and the implementation of Novonesis’ commercial strategies.Develop and implement technical action plans together with Sales and Marketing, prioritizing technical support activities in alignment with the business plan and customer needs.Plan, conduct, and follow up on experiments, field trials, and technical evaluations, ensuring methodological rigor and generating relevant results for customers and the business.Translate technical knowledge and market analysis into actionable insights, recommendations, high-impact reports, and solutions that support business growth.Identify commercial opportunities and threats, support pipeline development in Salesforce, and contribute to new opportunities by region or key account.Collaborate with Applied Research, Business Units, Quality, Sales, and Marketing to address technical challenges, manage customer complaints, support product development, and identify innovation opportunities.Train and coach technical and commercial team members by sharing knowledge, facilitating technical discussions, and acting as a mentor and subject-matter expert for less experienced professionals.Develop new approaches, tools, and frameworks to address recurring or complex technical challenges, promoting consistency and quality in deliverables.What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleBachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Agronomy, or related fields.Master’s degree in a related field. PhD is considered a plus.Advanced or fluent English.
