About the Role

The Salesforce Technical Architect will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives, focusing on platform capabilities, hosting infrastructure, security, and integration.

This role involves leading technical design sessions, conducting customer technical due diligence, and providing actionable recommendations. A key aspect of the role is translating business requirements into solution architectures that leverage Salesforce's full potential, especially Data and AI-driven solutions.

Your Impact & Responsibilities

1. Business planning and strategy.
2. Become a trusted advisor to CIO/CTO/EA level contacts and their teams as they look to move their business to a cloud architecture.
3. Earn the trust of prospects' and customers’ CISO/CSO/Chief Risk Officer and similar.
4. Present Salesforce technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with company's platform capabilities, hosting infrastructure, security and integration capabilities.
5. Understand the customer need and establish company's product as the best solution that addresses the technical and business requirements.
6. Conduct architecture and technical workshops that may include enablement sessions.
7. Manage customer technical due diligence and risk management processes.
8. Work closely with other elements of the Salesforce organization, e.g., alliances, sales effectiveness, industry business unit, product marketing, etc., to develop and execute internal and external programs and initiatives.
9. Assist sales teams in responses to RFPs and technical requirements documents.
10. Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certification to acquire and maintain the necessary knowledge.
11. Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management.
12. Mentor and guide more junior technical resources.

Required Skills

1. Multi-year experience in software, system, or enterprise architecture disciplines.
2. Good understanding of architectural principles of cloud-based platforms including SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, etc.
3. Good understanding of all cloud offerings in the market and ability to discuss cloud architectures.
4. Good understanding of enterprise application integration, including SOA, ESB, EAI, ETL environments, process orchestration, BPM, CEP, MDM, BI/BA, Data & AI.
5. A good understanding of security processes, standards & issues involved in multi-tier cloud or hybrid applications.
6. Familiarity with network, application, and information security principles.
7. English intermediate/advanced skills.

Preferred Skills

1. Previous practitioner and/or implementation experience of Salesforce solutions or relevant solutions.
2. Familiarity with regional/vertical data privacy and compliance requirements.
3. Hands-on technical consulting and solution implementation experience in major software domains, coding experience in object-oriented languages.
4. Ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration.
5. Experience guiding customers and project teams in deploying emerging technologies.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team, taking ownership of problems.
7. Rapid learner with strong presentation and communication skills.
8. Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as needed.
9. Familiarity with solution selling.
10. Salesforce development experience (Force.com, Java, C#, JavaScript), mobile development, modern frameworks.
11. Experience with architectural frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman.
12. Knowledge of design thinking principles.

Experience will be evaluated based on alignment with core proficiencies, including leadership roles and volunteer work.
