About the role
The Presales Solution Design Support teambeing an integral part of the IPSE will interlock with Global Marketing, GDO, CDIO and International teams with a clear objective of streamlining the bid process, accelerate presales autonomy, simplify presales solution development and validation, and increase our win ratio. The team will continuously develop their skills in strategic domains as well as technical skills for the future to drive value to our customers. That’s why the 3 main strategy pillars for IPSE are based on;
- Replicability through Capitalization: facilitate replicability using capitalization to optimize what has been already sold. Identify reusable solutions and ensure capitalization of repetitive proposed solutions to expand presales autonomy and support Product Management. More specifically, provide Brick and others documentation to accelerate sales autonomy
- Improving Velocity of our solution design & validation, facilitate the Go to Market for more sales autonomy through early engagement by participating to qualification phase,
- Bring add value expertise to the SVP, being aligned with the SVP strategy to support SVP and Innovative support integration
Job Description
The Presales Solution Design Architectwill work within different squads as a pivotal link among all organizations and presales teams, committed to providing guidance, technical expertise and assistance to promote technically and commercially innovative solutions that matches customer needs.
He/She will guarantee simplified approaches leading to optimizations, facilitate new services integration and orchestration, increase the volume of available knowledge for replicability, and bring agility to the process.
Main activities
In their engagements the Presales Design Support Architectwill navigate complexities and assist presales while;
- Contributing actively to the international bid process providing support at different stages (consultancy via early engagement in qualification phase, guidance during design stage, validation and costing of non-standard elements, handover of won deals)
- Being responsible for providing solution design expertise support to global presales teams with relevance to SVPs and domain of expertise.
- Adopting new ways of working promoting agility and presales autonomy via replicability.
- Engaging with Marketing and Business Development when appropriate to review strategy and solution positioning
- Minimizing response times and ensure the quality of a solution in support of sales. Solutions are expected to be commercially competitive, while maintaining or exceeding the level of compliancy agreed within solution strategy.
- Coordinating actions internally and externally to ensure all the solution components are implementable and operable from engineering, delivery (GDO & I2), operations, and IT standpoints.
- Assessing associated risks of tailored solutions, providing recommendations for risks provisioning as feasible, and documenting those risks in internal risk register.
- After the bid is signed, ensure a smooth transition of commitment and deliverables from Pre-Sales to Post-Sales and support pre-sales worldwide communities through active contribution
The Presales Design Support Architectwill ensure high quality of the below deliverables;
- Validation responses including High-Level-Design (HLD) describing how the solution can be built, and ensuring it’s interworking with existing technologies or other service blocks. The response shall be assigned a maturity level that indicates the level of autonomy for future reuse.
- Current replicable solutions continuously enriched with design updates, new features, delivery experience and product position.
- Jointly developed service definitions and product collaterals as part of engagements within squads and/or product team projects
The Presales Design Support Architectwill keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in relevant domains and provide recommendations for their adoption within orange business SVPs strategy
About you
Key Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

- Solid technical skills and knowledge of relevant domain/ field of expertise inline with Evolution platform SVP (DI; Connectivity , Cloud , Security and Orchestration) .
- Strong knowledge of Service Management and Service Integration solutions , ex: Observability , Service now .
- Good knowledge of OB solutions, organization, tools and processes
- Strong people networking, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Experience in working with Sales, Product Managers or Factories (Engineering, Operations, Affiliates)
- Knowledge of digital integration and API development to enable the integration of telecommunications infrastructure with other enterprise systems.
- Autonomous and comfortable in unknown environments

Qualifications, Education and Certifications
- BSc degree in engineering or telecommunications science or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in telecommunications or IT industry
- Vendor certifications in the relevant domain/ field of expertise inline with SVP.
- High knowledge of agility and transformation management – Scrum, DevOps, SAFe certifications is a plus
- English fluent (spoken, written)
