About the role

We are seeking a Power BI Developer to design and implement data solutions using Power BI Service. Responsibilities include developing data models, creating complex DAX calculations, and building interactive reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and implement data solutions using Power BI Service.
2. Develop data models for effective data analysis.
3. Create complex calculations and measures with DAX.
4. Develop interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards.
5. Ensure data integrity through database management and SQL queries.
6. Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
7. Optimize data models and reports for performance.
8. Update data models to meet evolving business needs.
9. Stay updated with Power BI and data analytics trends.
10. Support data governance policies.
11. Provide technical support for Power BI issues.
12. Communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5 to 8 years supporting Actuarial systems.
• Strong SQL Server skills, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Proficiency in Excel VBA.
• Familiarity with actuarial software like ResQ.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive with good multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
• Advanced English proficiency.
