Job summary

Winmax Integrated Pte Ltd. is seeking a PLC & Electrical Engineer for construction projects. Based on site locations in the North & East region, you will work on PLC/DCS programming, HMI configuration, and commissioning, with travel to HQ for training and support across Malaysia market.

Contract role with potential conversion to permanent staff based on performance. The role requires 1–3 years of project experience and a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or related Engineering fields.
• 1–3 years of relevant project experience (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).
• Experience in PLC/DCS programming is a MUST (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.), HMI configuration, and FAT/SAT activities.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution and commissioning stages.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical design is an advantage.
• Must travel to HQ for PLC/programming training and support Malaysia Market on PLC works.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day project activities and ensure work is completed on schedule and quality standards.
• Participate in PLC/DCS programming and modification and system SAT activities.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Attend site meetings, conduct site checks, and support installation and commissioning work.
• Review drawings, plans, and technical documents; update and maintain project documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians where needed.
• Monitor project progress, identify issues early, and support timely problem-solving.
• Prepare progress reports, test reports, and handover documents for clients.

• Industry/ Organization Type: Building and Construction (Chemical/Solvent/Slurry System)

• Position Title: PLC & Electrical Engineer (Construction Projects)

• Working Location: North & East (Based on site location)

• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri, 8:00AM - 5:30PM; Sat, 8:00AM - 12:30PM)

• Salary Package:Basic Salary ($3200-$4800)

• Duration: Contract (1yr) with options to convert to permanent Staff with acceptable performance.

Job Scope

The person will be collaborating closely with site personnel and be highly involved in the following aspects of the business but not limited to the below:
