Involves completing administrative tasks and coordinating activities related to front-line operations, which may include data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities, dispatch activities, and local customer service. While operational tasks may be part of these roles, most of the time is spent on office-based activities.
Under general guidance, the role includes:
- Generating internal operational reports and/or responding to customer requests.
- Monitoring operational indicators (SLA's and KPI's) and suggesting improvements to productivity.
- Following up on collection, delivery, and transfer operations.
- Supporting coordination of receipt, storage, validation, separation, and shipment of packages.
- Managing activities related to risk and communicating pending issues to Security.
- Coordinating warehouse storage and cleaning.
- Overseeing dispatch of documentation and pre-alerts, ensuring deadlines are met, and planning shipments within the network.
- Executing inventory counts and participating in inventory cycle planning and execution.
- Updating information in systems such as ERP and WMS.
- Training handlers in operational activities.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: 1 year in a clerical position
- Skills: Good interpersonal skills, intermediate Excel, strong verbal and written communication, organization, dynamism, creativity, proactivity, ability to meet goals and deadlines, inventory knowledge, accuracy, attention to detail, Microsoft Office and PC skills, planning and organizing skills, interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills.
