The Digital Media Specialist will lead day-to-day media planning and buying for assigned agency clients. This individual will strategically execute against clientsʼ media objectives, goals, and expectations with best-in-class paid media solutions. The Digital Media Specialist will have a close working relationship with the internal and external Client and will build and oversee the execution of media plans. This individual will be instrumental in advocating for the approval of these plans and will participate in client meetings and presentations that outline media objectives, KPIs, and budget.
What you will do:
- Define holistic digital media strategies that meet business and marketing objectives and align with messaging strategies for clients
- Discuss strategy with clients and conduct annual briefs to determine goals/objectives (establishing clear KPIs) for annual and misc. supplemental media plans.
- Prepare detailed media plans and oversee the digital media implementation process.
- Create and maintain media flowcharts and authorizations across all digital media channels
- Contribute to the development of forward-thinking strategies and campaigns
- Construct well-researched presentations that are persuasive and tell a story, and deliver presentations with poise and confidence
- Transform research data into actionable customer insights, observations, and conclusions
- Stay current on high-level media trends and capabilities across all relevant media channels
- Evaluate media proposals and develop agency points of view
- Prioritize deliverables and maintain deadlines; effectively communicate any delays in deadlines
- Acts as an escalation point of contact internally for Client issues and/or internal challenges
- Takes an active interest in understanding our clientsʼ industries and brand categories and ensures the media mix aligns with client objectives and organizational goals.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in media planning and buying is a must, preferably agency side
- Previous experience and understanding of US markets/DMAs. Multicultural experience is a plus
- Deep understanding of the negotiation and buying process across media and experience in developing and managing multi-media campaigns
- Excellent analysis, reporting and presentation skills
- Passion for new/emerging media technologies and ability to engage strategically and tactically across platforms
- Proven abilities to manage multiple clients and campaigns
- Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and minimum supervision
- Strong analytical skills and ability to relate results to client business objectives
- Proficient in using and assessing standard media research and planning tools (e.g., GoogleAnalytics, Scarborough, Nielsen, Tapclicks, etc.).
- Fluent Spanish and intermediate English is necessary
- Ability to work during hours corresponding to Miami timezone (GMT-4) is necessary
- Fully remotework.
