Henkel Ltda in Brazil seeks a Packaging Project Implementation Manager to lead LATAM packaging initiatives across AM, AP and ACB. You will drive project portfolio leadership, collaborate across functions, and ensure delivery aligns with business objectives and timelines.

You will optimize packaging data, support in-house and 3PM operations, and participate in sustainability, supplier diversification, and risk mitigation efforts to strengthen regional competitiveness.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemistry, Material or related)
  • Fluent in English; advanced Spanish is a plus
  • 7+ years of packaging development experience across materials (plastic, metal, paper, board)

Responsabilidades

  • Lead project management and execution across LATAM, including MFO initiatives and strategic packaging projects
  • Deliver measurable business value through cost optimization, supplier diversification, risk mitigation, packaging innovation, and sustainability improvements
  • Improve packaging master data accuracy and document packaging components
  • Support packaging demands for both in-house and 3PM manufacturing in LATAM
  • Serve as regional packaging expert for quality investigations and corrective actions
  • Drive sustainability projects to reduce material usage and enable reuse/recycling
  • Address compliance gaps (DG and EPR regulations) and ensure governance of opportunities
  • Provide accurate health checks of packaging assets to Central of Excellence Global team
  • Balance prioritized project portfolio with business needs and operational capabilities
  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders for alignment and communication
  • Develop supplier diversification strategies to improve cost competitiveness and supply resilience
  • Drive end-to-end project execution within the ADP framework and secure gate approvals

Packaging Project Implementation Manager
About this Position

Packaging Project Implementation Manager will be responsible for implementing projects for Latin America across Industrial SBUs such as AM, AP and ACB. Responsible for driving successful project portfolio leadership throughout the stakeholder influence, strategic relationship management, cross functional collaboration ensuring delivery align with business objectives, timelines and expectations.

What you´ll do
  • Leads project management and execution activities across Latin America, including MFO initiatives and strategic packaging projects
  • Deliver measurable business value through cost optimization, supplier diversification, risk mitigation, packaging innovation, and sustainability improvement
  • Improve packaging master data accuracy including execution and documentation of new/existent packaging components
  • Support packaging demands both in-house manufacturing and third-party manufacturing (3PM) operations for the AP, AM, and ACB business for LATAM
  • Serve as the regional packaging expert for quality incident investigations, supporting root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive action
  • Drive and execute sustainability projects in the region and reduce material usage/enable re-use/ recycling
  • Work together with the team by executing projects to address gaps in compliance (DG and EPR regulations)
  • Evaluate, prioritize, and govern packaging project opportunities based on financial return, strategic value, implementation complexity, and business impact
  • Provide accurate health check of mold packaging assets under business responsibilities to the Central of Excellence Global team
  • Provide leadership in prioritized project portfolio, balancing business needs and operational capabilities
  • Work closely with regional and global stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Develop and implement supplier diversification strategies, alternative sourcing initiatives to improve cost competitiveness, supply security, and business resilience
  • Drive end-to-end packaging project execution within the ADP framework, presenting project progress and key decisions to stakeholders, securing cross-functional alignment, and obtaining all required gate approval.
What makes you a good fit
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemistry, Material or co-related)
  • Fluent in English, advanced Spanish is a plus
  • Experienced in multiple Packaging materials such as plastic, metal, paper and board. More than 7 years of experience in Packaging Development.
