Operations Specialist, Ops External Fulfillment

The Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in driving data-informed decisions to optimize seller operations. This position requires:

  1. Strong analytical skills: The ability to interpret complex data trends and translate them into actionable insights.
  2. Data proficiency: Extensive experience with SQL for querying Amazon's data clusters and extracting relevant information.
  3. Daily operations support: Monitoring key metrics, managing stakeholders both internally and externally, and implementing new processes to enhance efficiency.
  4. Strategic thinking: A comprehensive understanding of the broader customer experience landscape and its impact on operations.
  5. Ownership mentality: A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems, with a willingness to take responsibility for outcomes.
  6. Pattern recognition: Keen ability to identify trends, anomalies, and potential disruptions in data sets.
  7. Attention to detail: Meticulous scrutiny of data points and the capacity to foresee potential implications of findings.
  8. Process improvement: Continuously evaluating and enhancing operational procedures to drive seller success.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Create, monitor and manage enforcement mechanisms to improve Seller Experience;
  2. Monitor operations, suggest and implement process improvements;
  3. Great speaking and writing skills to effectively and objectively translate complex information;
  4. Anticipate implications based on current data and trends and take necessary actions;
  5. Serve as a link between internal and external stakeholders, keeping in mind objectives, limitations, compliance, and information privacy;
  6. Dive deep into the root causes of operational problems;
  7. Track operational metrics;
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Experience with advanced Excel;
  • Experience with basic SQL;
  • Intermediate English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineer or Business related;
  • Experience with Python, R and Power;
  • Experience with R;
  • Experience with PBI;
