Revolut Ltd is seeking an Operations Manager (Banking) to drive high-impact initiatives and scale processes across the globe. You will partner with multiple teams to ensure regulatory compliance and efficient branch operations while expanding Revolut's footprint in Hungary.

The role requires owning complex cross-border projects, managing risk and outsourcing activities, and delivering results in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• A 2:1 degree from a top university.
• 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally financial services or management consulting.
• Fluency in Hungarian.
• Experience managing risk, compliance, and outsourcing operations.
• Proven track record leading complex projects end to end.
• Ability to break complex problems into smaller parts.
• Curiosity and willingness to make an impact.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a key stakeholder for the branch in Hungary.
• Overseeing day-to-day 1st line of defence functions of the branch, including governance and regulatory interactions.
• Providing oversight of outsourced functions.
• Executing scale operations with cross-functional teams in Lithuania, London, and other global offices.
• Monitoring country-specific risk incidents and coordinating resolutions with service owners.

What you’ll be doing

• Acting as a key stakeholder for the branch in Hungary
• Overseeing day-to-day 1st line of defence functions of the branch, including governance, interactions with regulators, and oversight of BAU operations
• Providing adequate oversight and accountability with respect to outsourced functions
• Executing scale operations and working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing) in Lithuania, London, and our other global offices
• Monitoring country-specific risk incidents, conduct issues, and their resolution timelines, and liaising with the relevant service owners, ensuring proper controls are placed

What you'll need

• At least a 2:1 degree from a top university
• 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally financial services or management consulting in the Hungarian market
• Fluency in Hungarian
• Experience managing risk, compliance, and outsourcing operations
• A solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end to end
• The ability to break complex problems into smaller ones
• Natural curiosity and a willingness to make an impact

Nice to have

• Experience working with regulators
• Experience setting up a branch in Hungary

Compensation range

• Poland: PLN12,800 - PLN35,800 gross monthly*
• Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
