Oncology Clinical Researcher (AI Training)

About The Role

What if your deep knowledge of cancer clinical trials could directly shape how AI understands and reasons about oncology — influencing the tools that will define the future of cancer care?

We're looking for experienced Oncology Clinical Researchers to bring real-world clinical rigor into cutting-edge AI development. You'll evaluate, guide, and improve AI-generated oncology content — ensuring it reflects the scientific, regulatory, and clinical standards that matter most in cancer research.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background required — just deep expertise in oncology clinical trials and a sharp eye for scientific accuracy.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
  • Review and evaluate AI-generated oncology content for clinical accuracy, regulatory alignment, and scientific relevance
  • Apply your expertise in trial design — protocol development, patient enrollment, safety monitoring, and regulatory compliance — to assess AI outputs
  • Analyze AI-generated interpretations of cancer trial data, including efficacy endpoints, safety profiles, and biomarker results
  • Identify gaps, errors, or misalignments between AI-generated insights and real-world oncology standards
  • Translate your clinical knowledge into structured, actionable feedback that directly improves AI model performance
  • Work independently and asynchronously — entirely on your own schedule
Who You Are
  • Experienced in designing and managing oncology clinical trials, from protocol development through data readout
  • Strong background in analyzing oncology clinical data — including primary and secondary endpoints, safety monitoring, and biomarker analysis
  • Familiar with regulatory submission standards for agencies such as the FDA or EMA
  • Detail-oriented and methodical, with a consistent approach to evaluating complex scientific content
  • Able to clearly communicate clinical reasoning and feedback in writing
  • No prior AI or tech experience required
Nice to Have
  • Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
  • Background in translational oncology, precision medicine, or biomarker-driven trial design
  • Familiarity with regulatory documents such as clinical study reports, INDs, or NDAs
  • Prior work across multiple cancer indications or therapeutic modalities
Why Join Us
  • Work directly on frontier AI systems transforming how cancer research is understood and applied
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, high-impact work
  • Influence how AI models reason about real oncology data at the cutting edge of medical AI
  • Collaborate with world-leading AI research teams and labs
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
