Purpose

• As Offshore Maintenance Engineer, you are responsible for managing maintenance activities within an offshore unit, ensuring tasks align with operational goals and regulatory requirements. This includes planning, resource mobilization, stakeholder coordination, and maintaining maintenance quality and efficiency. You will manage the maintenance backlog, participate in procurement, and support corrective and planned maintenance efforts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance backlog, ensuring timely resolution of tasks.
• Participate in backlog planning for short- and long-term maintenance needs.
• Align with Maintenance Superintendents and Supervisors to develop and execute backlog strategies.
• Implement maintenance strategies as outlined by department leads.
• Plan and mobilize resources for major maintenance activities and third-party services.
• Collaborate with Fabric Maintenance and SPIE teams to ensure scope execution.
• Oversee offshore routine maintenance, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
• Update and report on the maintenance budget master plan.
• Log corrective maintenance tasks and monitor maintenance KPIs.
• Participate in planned shutdowns, ensuring scope and operational smoothness.
• Ensure offshore supervisors and superintendents comply with SBM procedures.
• Support procurement processes for materials and services.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Metallurgical/Materials, or Automation Engineering.

Experience

• Maintenance practices experience.
• Oil and gas industry experience (desired).
