Intergo Telecom is seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer to oversee monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate has hands-on SMS A2P experience and proficiency with the Alaris SMSC or similar systems, with at least two years in a NOC/telecom environment.

You will monitor routes, investigate issues, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure 24/7 availability and reliable delivery.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a NOC or telecom environment.
• Proficiency with Alaris systems is a must.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, technologies, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of SMS routes, proactively identifying issues and addressing inefficiencies.
• Monitor real-time traffic and route performance, responding to network alerts and delivery issues.
• Investigate and diagnose technical issues related to SMS routing, including network configurations and logs.
• Maintain the Messaging routing scheme to ensure 24/7 availability.
• Respond to and escalate issues from customers to suppliers when needed.
• Manage alarms, alerts, and incidents using Alaris monitoring systems.
• Address network issues promptly and escalate to senior teams as required.
• Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of disruptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and configuration changes.
• Document and update operational processes and incident reports.
• Continuously optimize system performance and implement best practices for network reliability.

As a NOC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our network, proactively identifying issues, and resolving them efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of SMS routes, proactively identifying and addressing potential delivery issues or inefficiencies
• Monitor real‑time traffic and route performance, responding swiftly to network alerts and delivery issues
• Investigate and diagnose technical issues related to SMS routing, including network configurations, logs, and routing failures
• Monitor and maintain the Messaging routing scheme ensuring 24/7 availability
• Promptly respond and elevate TT's from Customers to Suppliers
• Manage and troubleshoot alarms, alerts, and incidents using Alaris monitoring systems
• Respond to network issues promptly, escalating to senior teams when necessary
• Perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences of network disruptions
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support system upgrades and configuration changes
• Document and update operational processes, procedures, and incident reports
• Continuously optimize system performance and implement best practices for network reliability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 2+ years of experience in a NOC or telecom environment
• Proficiency with Alaris systems is a must
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, technologies, and troubleshooting techniques
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Having experience in the voice field would be a plus
