John Deere Brazil in Indaiatuba invites applications for a Mid-Level Structural Analysis Engineer to support development and validation of agricultural products through advanced structural simulations and virtual verification activities.

You will collaborate with Design and PV&V teams, leveraging FEA tools such as Altair Suite, ANSYS or Abaqus to improve performance, quality and reliability while partnering with global engineering teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Finite Element Method.
• Experience with structural analysis of components.
• Experience with product engineering tools, systems, and databases.
• Strong English communications skills (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Close communication with Design and PV&V Engineers to develop and execute analysis and/or test plans for Product Verification and Validation.
• Plans and executes Agricultural products virtual structural verification activities.
• Produces and/or evaluates possible design solutions for Agricultural products to improve cost, quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications.
• Compiles and furnishes necessary information to share results and further documentation of the assigned activities.
• Applies knowledge of company products, policies, and best practices to drive improvement and standardization of virtual verification practices for Agricultural products.
• Provides mentoring and guidance to less experienced engineers within the team.

About The Role

As a Structural Analysis Engineer based at our Research and Development Center (RDC) in Indaiatuba/SP, you will support the development and validation of agricultural products through advanced structural simulations and virtual verification activities. Working closely with Design and PV&V teams, you will leverage FEA tools to improve product performance, quality, and reliability while collaborating with global engineering teams in a dynamic and innovative environment.

What Skills You Need

• Degree in a Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Understanding and application of the Finite Element Method.
• Technical experience related to structural analysis of components.
• Product engineering experience focused on structures.
• Experience with product engineering tools, systems, and databases.
• Experience with Altair Suite, ANSYS, Abaqus or other FEA software.
• Knowledge on correlation processes between physical test and virtual analysis.
• Strong English communications skills (written and spoken).

Main Responsabilities

• Close communication with Design and PV&V Engineers to develop and execute analysis and/or test plans for Product Verification and Validation.
• Plans and executes Agricultural products virtual structural verification activities.
• Produces and/or evaluates possible design solutions for Agricultural products to improve cost, quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications. This may include possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel.
• Compiles and furnishes necessary information (engineering decisions and reports of pertinent design analyses data) to share results and concussions and further documentation of the assigned activities.
• Applies knowledge of company products, policies, and best practices to drive the improvement and standardization of virtual verification practices for Agricultural products.
• Provides mentoring and guidance to less experienced engineers within the team.

• Knowledge of enterprise new product introduction processes (EPDP, CI, TDP, etc...).
• Proven strong collaboration with multidisciplinary product engineering teams.
• Proven mentoring skills to colleagues or to the less experienced.
• Knowledge on PV&V testing and instrumentation.
• Master's Degree in Structural Mechanics or similar.
