Jobtailor is seeking a backend-focused engineer to join the team in Cascavel. You will help configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines, translate requirements to infrastructure, and monitor production performance. You will implement business logic, manage database connections, and ensure scalable data processing.

Qualificações

• Strong experience in back-end development with Node.js, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases and basic CI/CD tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Support configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and staging/production environments.
• Translate requirements between development and infrastructure teams.
• Monitor production performance and diagnose issues.
• Implement and maintain business logic and data processing for systems.
• Configure and optimize connections to relational and NoSQL databases.
• Write clean code with refactoring to improve architecture.
• Write and run unit and integration tests to protect functionality.
• Create and maintain API/architecture and core infra documentation.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (Dailies, Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Collaborate with POs/PMs/Designers/Front-end developers to deliver backlog items.
• Mentor junior developers on programming and basic infrastructure concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support the development team in configuring, maintaining, and automating CI/CD pipelines and staging/production environments.
• Serve as a technical point of contact and translator between development requirements and the infrastructure team/processes.
• Monitor application behavior in production and assist in diagnosing performance and infrastructure issues.
• Implement and maintain business logic and data processing for systems, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Configure, manage, and optimize connections to relational and non-relational databases.
• Write clean code and perform continuous refactoring to improve the software architecture.
• Write and run unit and integration tests to ensure new deliveries do not break existing functionality.
• Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation for APIs, architecture, and core infrastructure workflows used by the team.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (Dailies, Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives).
• Work closely with Product Owners (POs), Product Managers (PMs), Designers, and Front‑End developers to take tasks from the board and backlog through to delivery.
• Support and mentor junior developers on programming questions and basic infrastructure concepts.

Core Competencies: Demonstrates strong back‑end development skills with expertise in Node.js, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript, alongside practical knowledge of infrastructure management using Docker and CI/CD tools. Capable of optimizing database connections and ensuring application performance and scalability while mentoring junior developers.

Requirements

• Strong experience in back‑end development (Node.js, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL and NoSQL queries)
• Practical knowledge of infrastructure: experience with Docker, basic experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions), and cloud providers (AWS)
