Jobtailor is looking for an experienced developer to build and maintain web products using a NestJS backend and React frontend. You will optimize SQL queries in PostgreSQL and SQL Server, manage AWS infrastructure, and implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

In this role, you will participate in refinement sessions, document user stories, and contribute to architectural decisions while ensuring code quality and scalable solutions.

Qualificações

• Experience with Node.js/NestJS, and React for full‑stack web development.
• Strong SQL skills: data modeling, migrations, window functions, and query optimization.
• Experience building RESTful APIs with authentication and versioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features for web products (NestJS backend and React frontend)
• Write and optimize SQL queries in PostgreSQL and SQL Server
• Maintain and evolve AWS infrastructure (ECS, RDS, S3, SQS, IAM)
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Diagnose and resolve incidents in staging and production
• Participate in refinement sessions, estimations, and documentation of user stories
• Collaborate on architectural decisions and continuous code improvement

Requirements

• Strong experience with Node.js and NestJS (or an equivalent framework with willingness to learn NestJS quickly)
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL: data modeling, query optimization, window functions, deduplication strategies, and migrations
• Building and maintaining REST APIs, including authentication, versioning, and best practices
• Experience with queues and messaging systems (AWS SQS or similar)
• Experience with React: hooks, state management, API consumption, and componentization
• Familiarity with UX concepts for building operational interfaces (complex forms, tables, request flows)
• Hands‑on experience with AWS: ECS, RDS, S3 (including pre‑signed URLs), IAM, and Security Groups
• Docker: creating and maintaining images and containers
• CI/CD with Azure DevOps or equivalent tools (pipelines, agents, releases)
• Advanced Git skills: branch strategy (main / homolog (staging) / feature), merges, conflict resolution
• Ability to diagnose end‑to‑end production issues (application, database, network, infrastructure)
• Autonomy to drive tasks from refinement through delivery
• Strong communication and technical writing (documentation, user stories, PRs)
