Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Node.js developer to drive end-to-end software delivery. You will design, implement, and maintain cloud-based Node.js RESTful services, focusing on scalable architectures and best practices.

Collaboration with product and QA teams is essential to deliver high-quality software. The role emphasizes unit/integration testing, code reviews, and knowledge sharing, with a strong focus on Express/NestJS, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenAPI, and Git across modern cloud

Qualificações

• More than 3 years of professional experience designing and implementing Node.js RESTful services.
• Proven track record deploying cloud-based Node.js services and supporting software.
• Experience with Express and/or NestJS.
• Ability to create software from product team requirements.
• Ability to work with existing Node.js services to resolve bugs or develop new features.
• Proficiency in design patterns and Node.js best practices.
• Extensive unit and integration testing experience.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger and Git.
• Experience in Tax/Accounting and SAP is a plus.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of professional experience, primarily designing and implementing Node.js RESTful services
• Proven track record of developing, deploying, and supporting cloud-based Node.js services and supporting software
• Experience with Express and/or NestJS
• Ability to efficiently and accurately create software based on the product team’s requirements
• Ability to work with existing Node.js services to resolve bugs or develop new features
• Professional-level debugging skills
• Proficiency in applying design patterns, programming paradigms, and Node.js best practices
• Extensive experience with unit and integration testing
• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications
• Familiarity with code version control tools such as Git
• Experience in Tax/Accounting (a plus)
• Experience with SAP (a plus)
