Job Description

We are looking for an Engineer with a strong background in Java development to join our team. You will be responsible for programming, developing, and delivering projects, collaborating with teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.

Our requirements for this position are:

Technical Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in Java (Spring/SpringBoot).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB), and data modeling.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures, Kafka, or other message streaming platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Proficiency in RESTful API development and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of TDD, BDD, and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Soft Skills:

• Ability to create efficient, reusable software modules.
• Experience in maintaining and enhancing existing applications.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and business needs.
• Mentoring skills for junior engineers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts.
• Proactive mindset focused on impact and execution.
• Good English level.

Additional/Plus Skills:

• Experience with system design and architecting scalable, high-availability solutions.
• Knowledge of financial applications/platforms (e.g., PIX in Brazil).
