Who We're Looking For

We seek a skilled Backend Engineer to join our game development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in C++, backend service architecture, and networked game systems. If you are passionate about building scalable, high-performance backend solutions for online and multiplayer games, we want to hear from you.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems for multiplayer and online game features
• Implement and optimize networked client/server architectures for performance and scalability
• Collaborate with gameplay engineers, designers, and other teams to integrate backend services
• Ensure backend stability and efficiency through debugging and troubleshooting
• Design scalable and maintainable backend services focusing on performance
• Write clean, efficient, and portable code following best practices

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in C++ with a focus on backend development
• Experience with networked game client/server architecture
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of backend service architecture and scalability
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail in system design and architecture

Latin America, open to 100% remote work

Additional Information

Work hours are approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, with occasional late nights for deadlines. Background checks are required due to security-conscious clients. The position is available immediately.
