Responsabilidades

• Oversee the dissolution phase logistics for materials to ensure timely movement.
• Coordinate returns or disposal of materials from venues to warehouses or disposal sites.
• Maintain relationships with disposal and recycling partners for environmentally responsible practices.

FIFA has established a Local FIFA Subsidiary in Brazil to work together with FIFA Zurich to deliver the biggest women’s sporting event in the world, the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ (“FWWC2027”) that for the first time ever, is hosted in South America in Brazil. THE POSITION

Sitting within the Operational Services Department, Logistics (along with Guest Operations, Language Services, Accommodation, Transport, and Travel) aims to deliver the most engaging, innovative, and accessible World Cup experience for all athletes, fans, partners, and the community.

The Material Planning and Dissolution Coordinator for FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ will collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and consolidate their Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) needs into a centralized system. This role ensures that all FF&E requirements are effectively managed throughout the planning and execution phases. The coordinator will focus on continuous optimizations, smooth handling of changes, and ensuring that all FF&E needs are met efficiently and sustainably. During the operations phase, the coordinator will work closely with other logistics workstreams to ensure the timely delivery of materials to the required destinations.

Also, the Material Planning and Dissolution Coordinator will lead the materials procurement and dissolution strategy for FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™, and other related events organized by FIFA (events). This strategy focuses on managing materials effectively for a successful tournament, emphasizing sustainability and cost efficiency. The coordinator will reduce and reuse materials where possible and develop robust dissolution plans to avoid excess items post-tournament, ensuring a seamless and efficient event.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with venue teams to develop comprehensive material plans and layouts, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and requirements.
• Capture stakeholder needs and material requirements, ensuring all specifications are accurately documented and integrated into the planning process.
• Utilize the Material Planning System or other Material Logistics Database to capture and manage all relevant information accurately, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for all stakeholders.
• Establish long-term relationships and exceptional customer service for stakeholders, guiding them through the planning process and educating them on the Material Planning System or other Materials Logistics Database to enhance their understanding and efficiency.
• Work with Finance, Procurement, and vendors to identify and implement special requirements for returning or disposing of materials, such as recycling or donation programs.
• Oversee the logistics related to the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ dissolution phase, ensuring the efficient and timely movement of materials.
• Coordinate the return or disposal of materials from venues to supplier warehouses or disposal sites.
• Establish and maintain relationships with disposal and recycling partners to ensure the environmentally responsible disposal of materials.
