Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Material Handler to join our growing team. Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor the Material Handler will verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming raw material deliveries.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Label, cut, place, and maintain the organizationandinventory of all raw material and material records.
• The material in the correct location
• Identify and transport the correct materialto the CNC saw and palletize the material in prep for manufacturing
• Keeping all material handling equipment in the best conditionby conducting regular maintenance and safety checks.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner
• Work with released job data and keep inventory on the availability of raw materials for upcoming jobs.

• High School Diploma or GED, college preferred
• Certification in forklift operation or ability to acquire certification
• Proficiency with data entry, math, computer skills, and basic measuring equipment (scales and or tape measure)
• Knowledge of operating automatic or manual saws in a machine shop environment
• Ability to work well in a team atmosphere
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task as needed to ensure prompt material transport to each machine
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Good knowledge of the methods of machining
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range$20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Physical Demands

An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. In performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit or stand for long durations of time, in addition to bending, reaching, and walking. Work Environment

The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
