Carrier is seeking an experienced Demand Planning leader in Brazil to drive the 18-month consensus forecast within the SIOP cycle. You will partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to align demand plans with supply, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal resources.

Qualified candidates bring 5+ years in supply chain, advanced Excel/SAP/Kinaxis skills, and a track record shaping forecasting methodologies.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • MBA or master's degree in business or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 5+ years in Supply Chain (S&OP, Forecasting, Demand Planning, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of S&OE, IBP and S&OP with implementation experience.
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with demand planning tools.
  • Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel, SAP, Kinaxis and PowerPoint.

About the role

This position is for an experienced professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise who leads in the supply and demand planning process, and is responsible for making significant improvements of processes, systems, and products to enhance performance of work area and team. Works with internal and external team leaders to develop financial forecasts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Business Leaders to develop an 18-month consensus demand plan for assigned Business Unit through the monthly SIOP cycle.
  • Spearheads the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP in order to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery.
  • Partner with stakeholders across teams to capture all inputs to the demand plan and to ensure adjustments and improvements to forecasting models and methodologies are implemented.
  • Integrate firm backlog, order pipeline, bookings forecast, statistical forecasting, portfolio management, NPI, market intelligence and other product demand signals to create a consensus demand forecast.
  • Coordinates cross-functional discussions to document and challenge Demand Plan assumptions and refine the forecast.
  • Analyze performance and metrics to identify causes of forecast error and bias and develop and implement plans to correct errors.
  • Stay updated on market trends, industry dynamics, and customer behavior
  • Develop plan to capture opportunities and identify demand changes
  • Collaborate with senior management to align demand planning initiatives with overall business strategies and goals. Ensure alignment between revenue and demand plans.
  • Understand the drivers of demand changes, customers, and revenue impacts and potential effects on the downstream processes.
  • Lead the SIOP Demand Reviews, prepare all data and metrics for review, identify gaps and scenarios that must be presented, guide final decision making on open items and trade-offs, and prepare escalations for executive review where appropriate.
  • Create the SIOP Demand Review minutes, communicate key conclusions to stakeholders and perform follow up of the actions.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to advance the demand planning and forecasting process capabilities.
As a minimum you must have
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain (S&OP, Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Materials Management, Master Planning, Scheduling)
  • Strong Working knowledge of S&OE, IBP and S&OP with implementation experience
  • MBA or master's degree in business or equivalent
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with demand planning tools
  • Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel, SAP, Kinaxis and PowerPoint
