TechnipFMC plc in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, seeks a Maintenance Engineer II for Subsea Controls to support maintenance, repair, and modification of subsea equipment. You will deliver safe, efficient engineering solutions, participate in technical discussions, and coordinate with customers and internal teams to meet project needs.

This role requires a CREA-registered engineering degree, subsea experience, SAP familiarity, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualificações

  • Engineering degree with CREA registration.
  • Experience maintaining, repairing, or modifying subsea equipment.
  • Ability to work autonomously on medium-complex engineering tasks.
  • Strong analytical thinking, organization, and prioritization.
  • Clear communication with customers and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of engineering documentation, specs, and international standards.
  • Familiarity with SAP and release processes.
  • Proactive, collaborative mindset with focus on safety and quality.

Responsabilidades

  • Attend routine management meetings with internal customers and support resolution of medium-complexity technical issues.
  • Estimate engineering hours for maintenance and repair scopes for proposals.
  • Define engineering solutions for factory interruptions related to mapped causes in SAP and the release process.
  • Prepare initial maintenance scopes to support manufacturing and maintenance planning.
  • Document technical assumptions and dispositions per customer requirements and standards.
  • Engage in discussions on failure investigations in maintenance, modification, repair, or manufacturing contexts.
  • Follow up on improvement initiatives that may change processes.
  • Prepare engineering documents in line with TCE release processes.
  • Collaborate with customers, factory, maintenance, quality, safety, and other interfaces.

Job Purpose

Support maintenance, repair, and modification activities for subsea equipment within the Controls discipline. Deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality engineering solutions to support business and customer needs.

Job Description

Attend routine management meetings with internal customers and support the resolution of medium-complexity technical issues.

Support the preparation of commercial proposals by estimating engineering hours for maintenance and repair scopes.

Define engineering solutions for factory interruptions related to mapped engineering causes in SAP and the help chain process.

Prepare initial maintenance scopes to support manufacturing and maintenance planning activities.

Document technical assumptions and dispositions according to customer requirements, technical specifications, and applicable international standards.

Participate in technical discussions related to failure investigations involving maintenance, modification, repair, and/or manufacturing of tools and equipment.

Follow up on improvement initiatives that may generate process changes.

Prepare engineering documents in compliance with TCE release processes.

You are meant for this job if:

Hold a degree in Engineering with active CREA registration.

Experience in subsea equipment maintenance, repair, or modification, preferably within the Controls discipline.

Are comfortable working autonomously on medium-complexity engineering activities and technical problem-solving.

Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, organization, and prioritization skills.

Communicate effectively with customers and multidisciplinary teams.

Have knowledge of engineering documentation, technical specifications, and applicable international standards.

Are familiar with SAP and engineering document release processes.

Show a proactive mindset, collaboration, and commitment to quality and safety.

Can communicate in English at an intermediate level (B2 or higher).

Lean knowledge and experience supporting customers, manufacturing, and maintenance operations are a plus.
