Manpower Malta is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Technician to join a manufacturing environment in Malta. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and production machinery to minimize downtime.

Key responsibilities include preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis on control systems and PLCs, and safe, compliant work practices. Candidates should have a vocational electrical qualification and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualificações

• Trade/Vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical fault finding, wiring, control panels, and power distribution systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, inverters, relays, contactors, and other industrial electrical components.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and servicing of electrical equipment.

• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production stoppages.

• Support both electrical and mechanical maintenance activities when required.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, inverters, relays, contactors, and other industrial electrical components.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.

Preferred

• Experience using CMMS/ERP maintenance systems.
• Familiarity with industrial automation and PLC-controlled production machinery.
