Job summary

Sonida Senior Living's Wellington at Arapaho in Richardson, TX is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead all maintenance and building operations, ensuring a safe, attractive, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

You'll oversee preventive maintenance, coordinate repairs to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, and manage life safety compliance, vendor relations, and staff training to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Maintenance, facilities, apartment, hotel, healthcare, or building operations experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building maintenance systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and vendor coordination is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond to maintenance needs in a timely manner.
• Passion for serving seniors and providing exceptional customer service.
