Job Summary

Supervise work teams and oversee maintenance and improvement activities of assets to ensure compliance with requirements, process parameters, and equipment availability within planned costs for each compression station. Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, prioritizing the safety of operators and equipment within the plant's machinery fleet.

Ensure compliance with plant maintenance planning to prevent significant production stops, guaranteeing safety and reliability of production equipment. Supervise maintenance activities and projects to meet schedules.

Responsible for supervising machinery and equipment maintenance, managing the maintenance team, and ensuring proper facility operation.

Main activities

1. Supervise installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
2. Manage the maintenance team, including personnel selection and role assignment.
3. Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
4. Assist in reviewing maintenance plans.
5. Monitor inventory and place orders as needed.
6. Oversee electrical and hydraulic systems; prepare maintenance plans and proposals.
7. Analyze incident records and evaluate machinery conditions.
8. Manage human and material resources.
9. Supervise utilities sector and review critical items for warehouse updates.
10. Ensure adherence to maintenance and renovation schedules through daily activity monitoring.
11. Contribute to parts and machinery acquisition, optimizing performance through systematic monitoring and maintenance programs.
12. Reduce risks and accidents by enforcing safety standards and PPE use, proposing modifications as necessary.
13. Promote technological updates and modernization of facilities and equipment.
14. Motivate the team through effective management, training, evaluation, and labor relations.
15. Supervise the plant's 5S Program and Factory Productivity Program; analyze Maintenance Performance Indexes.
16. Participate in meetings to improve results and team management.
17. Achieve or surpass the plant's business objectives.

Activities also include monitoring results against budget, managing reports, participating in budget processes, implementing plant improvements, and promoting continuous productivity, reliability, safety, quality, and efficiency improvements.

Maintain a good working environment to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and high morale, treating all employees fairly and equally.

Qualifications

• Graduation in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Post-graduate specialization is desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of work experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
• Knowledge of HSE rules (NR13, NR10) and regulations.
• Experience in infrastructure management and building safety culture.
• Experience in maintenance planning and control.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, Environment, Fire, Hygiene, and Training standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD is desirable.
• Advanced English; Spanish is a plus.
• Solid understanding of engineering and mechanical concepts.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to innovate technologically and possess strategic vision.
• Knowledge of automation is desirable.
