The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world. There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike.

You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day‑to‑day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

You’ll also get the chance to share your expertise by recommending modernization options, identifying new business opportunities, and cultivating relationships with other teams and stakeholders.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Specializes in installing, maintaining Mainframe Network for zOS
• Responsible for VTAM, TCPIP and SNA protocols, file transfer protocols, incident and change planning
• Good English communication skill to handle meetings with clients, partners and co-workers
• Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge on zOS Network products: *COMM SERVER BASE SUPPORT (TCPIP and VTAM) *VTAM APPN *OMPROUTE - OSFP and RIP *SMTP *SSH *TCPIP stack on LPAR *Encrypted FTP - SSL/TLS *AT/TLS including PAGENT *IPSec/VPN including PAGENT AND IKED *z/OS Load Balancing Advisor - LBA (workload balance outside the Sysplex) *TCPIP - Enterprise Extender *TCPIP - TN3270 servers *TCPIP - Dynamic VIPA

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Experience with Connect Direct for Mainframe;
• Knowledge on RACF/ACF2; CL SuperSession; IBM NetView; NetView; Access/Multisess Services; IBM Session Manager; CA Teleview; CA TPX; CA Solve; CA NETMASTER; Network Director; MacKinney Switch; Mainframe Network printer products: VVP, JQP
