Qualificações

• Experience with CICS Architecture and configuration across regions, transactions, programs and resources.
• Knowledge of mainframe files like VSAM and IAM.
• Experience integrating CICS with other platforms via SNA or TCP/IP and using CICS Transaction Gateway.
• Advanced security practices using RACF to enforce policies.
• Ability to script repetitive tasks with REXX or JCL.

The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with CICS Architecture and Configuration
• Detailed understanding of CICS architecture, including the configuration of regions, transactions, programs, and resources, through simple architecture or with CICS® web and/or CICSPlex®, optimizing configurations to improve software/environment performance and stability
• Knowledge of programming languages such as COBOL, C++, PL/I, and Assembler
• Knowledge of Files Used in Mainframe Architecture: Highlighting VSAM and IAM files
• Experience in Integrating CICS with Other Platforms and Systems through SNA or TCP/IP protocols, and using tools like CICS Transaction Gateway

Advanced Knowledge of Security Practices including the use of RACF (Resource Access Control Facility) to manage permissions and ensure compliance with security policies.

• Use of Tools such as IBM OMEGAMON, CICS Performance Analyzer or SYSVIEW® Performance Management to monitor and optimize CICS performance
• Ability to interpret performance metrics and implement improvements
• Ability to develop scripts for automation of repetitive tasks, system monitoring, and maintenance. Familiarity with scripting languages such as REXX and JCL
• Ability to manage changes in the CICS Environment including software updates, patches, and configuration modifications, ensuring all changes are implemented in a controlled and secure manner
• Knowledge of tools: IBM CICS Explorer, IBM CICS Interdependency Analyzer, CICSPlex® System Manager element of CICS® Transaction Server for z/OS®, IBM CICS Transaction Gateway, IBM CICS Configuration Manager
• Advanced English level
• Bachelor's degree
