Position overview:
Our AI team is building innovative products to accelerate impact with clients, including those in financial services. We seek a Machine Learning (ML) Engineer to support product development, focusing on adoption, integration, and scalability of ML/AI solutions. The role involves working with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to develop and deploy AI systems utilizing modern techniques such as prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

Responsibilities include:

1. Developing scalable machine learning frameworks.
2. Collaborating with data scientists and clients for product pilots.
3. Designing Gen AI solutions to meet business needs.
4. Evaluating algorithms and optimizing performance.
5. Refining prompt engineering techniques.
6. Implementing RAG approaches for text generation.
7. Integrating AI components into production systems.

Requirements include:

• Experience with data science algorithms and processes.
• Proficiency in Python/PySpark and SQL.
• Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and RAG methodologies.
• Interest or experience in financial services and credit modeling.
• 3+ years of industry experience in ML engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience with Gen AI systems.
