Job summary

Pacific International Lines (PIL) is seeking a highly organized Logistic Equipment Executive to join our team in Sao Paulo, Brazil. You will coordinate and monitor logistics operations, manage container movements, and liaise with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely cargo movement.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field, 3+ years in shipping, and fluency in Spanish with advanced English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Min. 3 years experience in shipping companies, handling containers Reefer and Dry, and other related equipments of logistics operations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite and reporting.
• Fluent in Spanish and advanced English level are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor logistics operations, including containers positioning, warehousing, and delivery.
• Coordinate the recovery of containers held by authorities or retained by customers beyond the established time.
• Liaise with vendors, carriers, depots, terminals and internal teams to ensure timely cargo movement.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and deliveries.
• Prepare and process logistics-related documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Track shipments and provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in resolving logistics issues and improving operational efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain oversight of Maintenance & Repair activities, verifying photographic records, repair times, and cost control.
• Continuously monitor container dwell times at container yards, promoting their timely evacuation and turnaround.
