Job summary

The ideal candidate has a degree in related field and at least 3 years in shipping or port operations, with strong MS Office and English skills, and knowledge of local regulations. Brazil eligibility required.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organizedOperations Executive to join our dynamic team at PIL Brazil en Sao Paulo. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day logistics operations and ensuring smooth coordination between various stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate shipping schedules and cargo movement withcarriers, partners and customs authorities.
• Resolve operational issues, including delays, discrepancies, and damaged goods, in a timely manner.
• Conduct performance evaluations of operative partners and service providers.
• Maintain accurate records of ship calls, costs, and operational activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operational processes and enhance efficiency.

MUST HAVE

• Degree in Foreign Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in shipping and port operations,as boarding clerk, Operations assistant or executive, Cargo Flow position or related position.
• Comprobable experience in related industries (logistics, shipping or supply chain).
• Ability to understand complex processes, define problems and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts (such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions) to practical situations.
• Knowledge of laws and rules applicable by authorities as well as local usages and customs in the ports under her/his jurisdiction.
• IT and System Requirements: MS Office package intermediate knowledge.
• Language: Good command level of English language written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and practices.
• Proficiency in logistics management software.
