Lever, Inc. is seeking a bilingual Technology Migration Leader (Core Payments & Adquirencia) based in Brazil to oversee a high-impact migration from a legacy acquiring platform to a modern processing architecture.

You will ensure transaction integrity and work with global teams across Agile and Waterfall environments. The role requires 4+ years of migration leadership, strong payments knowledge, and experience with ISO 8583, APIs, and reconciliation frameworks.

• Experience leading complex technology migrations in financial services or fintech.
• Deep understanding of payments flows including authorization, capture, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of payment data security standards and modern processing architectures.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Líder de Migración Tecnológica (Core de Pagos & Adquirencia) Bilingüe based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-impact technology migration within the payments and financial services ecosystem.
You will oversee the transition from a legacy acquiring platform to a modern processing architecture while protecting business continuity.
Your leadership will be critical to maintaining transaction integrity across merchants, balances, and payment flows.
You will design and govern migration, cutover, rollback, contingency, and reconciliation strategies with a strong focus on operational resilience.
Working with global and multidisciplinary teams, you will combine Agile and Waterfall methodologies to deliver key milestones.
This is a technical leadership opportunity for an experienced payments professional who thrives in complex, mission-critical environments.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the overall technology migration strategy and govern the transition from the legacy acquiring platform to the new processing architecture.
• Define and oversee controlled cutover procedures, rollback scenarios, balance reconciliation, and contingency plans to minimize operational impact.
• Establish robust data governance, quality, and reconciliation mechanisms across platforms to protect merchant information, balances, and transaction data.
• Maintain direct and effective technical communication with global stakeholders and coordinate dependencies across teams.
• Orchestrate multidisciplinary teams using Agile and Waterfall methodologies to meet project milestones and industry standards.
• Monitor migration risks, dependencies, and execution readiness, ensuring critical payment operations remain protected throughout the transition.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience leading complex technology migrations within financial services, payments, acquiring platforms, or related fintech environments.
• Deep understanding of acquiring transaction flows, including authorization, capture, settlement, reconciliation, and chargebacks.
• Experience integrating legacy payment platforms with modern processing architectures.
• Strong knowledge of payment technology concepts, including ISO 8583 messaging standards, APIs, batch file processing, and financial services architectures.
• Proven ability to design cutover plans, rollback strategies, contingency approaches, and transaction reconciliation frameworks.
• Advanced English proficiency at B2+/C1 level, with the ability to communicate effectively in technical and international environments.
• Strong command of Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and MS Project.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile Coaching are a plus.
• Experience working directly with international card networks such as VISA or Mastercard is desirable.
• Knowledge of payment data security standards, including PCI-DSS, is an advantage.
